Specialist Referrals

If your Northpoint Pediatrics doctor or nurse practitioner directs you to a specialist, please contact our patient account department at 317-621-9183, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with your appointment date, time, specialist name, and reason for the referral. Please notify our patient account office at least five business days before your appointment to allow time to process the referral according to your insurance company's requirements and for your specialist to receive notice of the authorization before your arrival for the visit.

Authorization must be obtained before you visit the specialist.
