Hospital Care

Caring for your children when they are in the hospital

Our physicians make daily newborn rounds at Community Hospital North. What does this mean to you? If you deliver your baby at Community Hospital North, you’ll see a Northpoint pediatrician each day of your hospital stay. If your child is a patient at Community Hospital North, you will regularly see one of Community's dedicated, in-patient pediatricians (hospitalists). Our partnership helps our families receive continual care while in the hospital.

What if my child is a patient at a different hospital?

The hospital will ask you who your pediatrician is and keep us informed. The hospital pediatrician will let you know how soon your child needs to be seen once they leave the hospital.
