My Hoosier roots are deep. Born and raised in Indianapolis, I graduated from North Central High School and then from DePauw University with a major in Spanish and a semester abroad. After receiving my medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, I completed my pediatrics residency in Columbus, Ohio, through The Ohio State University and practiced for several years there at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
I enjoy running, reading, participating in several spectator sports, and being outdoors with my husband and two children in my free time.
