I was born and raised in Marysville, MI. I received my bachelor's degree in biology from Hillsdale College and played college volleyball. After receiving my medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, I completed my pediatrics residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.

My husband is a neurosurgeon, and we have two children. I enjoy reading, exercising, and cooking in my spare time.
